Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of 2.0 in the direction of Shankar which is the sequel for Robo. The movie is said to be the costliest film in the history of Indian cinema and is busy with the post-production work. 2.0 will hit the screens on January 25th next year during Republic Day. Amy Jackson is the female lead and Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist in 2.0. Rajinikanth moved on to his next project titled Kaala which is directed by PA Ranjith.
Set in the backdrop of Mumbai, Rajinikanth will be showcased as a gangster in the film. Kaala already completed 70% of its shoot which is a huge surprise. Rajinikanth is expected to wrap up his part by the end of October revealed sources. Kaala has been announced for early summer release next year. Rajinikanth will cheer up his fans with two film with in three months which is something unusual. Kaala is bankrolled by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush.
