Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who is one of the leading actors of Telugu cinema. The actor tested his luck with his latest movie titled Agnyaathavaasi which released all over during Sankranthi. Trivikram directed the movie and Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel are the female leads. Boman Irani,Kushboo, Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma played other pivotal roles in the film which fell flat right from its first day. Agnyaathavaasi received poor response from the audience and has been badly rejected all over. Agnyaathavaasi managed to get huge openings right from the premieres across USA.
The film raked 1.5 million USD in USA with premieres alone. However the collections dropped badly and the film struggled to cross the 2 million USD mark over there. Agnyaathavaasi finally crossed the magical mark and the film surpassed the closing collections of Atharintiki Daaredi in USA. The movie has been sold out for massive price and the film needs to collect 4.5 million USD for breakeven which is impossible. Haarika and Hassine Creations bankrolled Agnyaathavaasi.
