Super talented filmmaker Harish Shankar too one and half year to finalize his next film. He decided to remake Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda and the Telugu version is titled Valmiki. The film has been officially launched recently and Varun Tej, Sree Vishnu are the lead actors in this action thriller. Varun Tej plays the lead antagonist in Valmiki and the regular shoot of this film starts from the mid of April.

As per the latest update, Eesha Rebba is in talks to play the leading lady in this action drama. Eesha has been given narration and the actress gave her nod recently. Harish Shankar is keen on roping Eesha for the role. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta are the producers. Valmiki will release across the globe during the second half of this year.
