Talented actress Renu Desai called it a quit for films after she got married to actor Pawan Kalyan. She recently directed a Marathi film but did not return back to acting. Now the latest speculation making rounds is that the actress is making her comeback with a challenging role and she will be seen in the biopic if Tiger Nageswara Rao, the notorious criminal in AP during the 1970s. The film has been under talks from some time and things are finalized now.

Dongata fame Vamsi Krishna will direct this action drama and Bellamkonda Sreenivas will play the title role as Tiger Nageswara Rao in the film. Renu Desai will be playing the role of social activist, freedom fighter Hemalatha Lavanam in the film. She recently signed the project and the regular shoot starts later this year. AK Entertainments and Abhishek Agarwal Entertainments will bankroll the project jointly.
