Akhil Akkineni tested his luck with Mr Majnu which is his third film in his career. The film carried decent expectations and is directed by Venky Atluri. Nidhhi Agerwal played the heroine and SS Thaman composed the music. The movie has been shot across lavish locales of London and Hyderabad. The theatrical rights of Mr Majnu have been sold out for Rs 22 crores all over. Mr Majnu released on January 25th and it received mixed response.

The film raked Rs 9.23 crores in three days all over which is poor. Mr Majnu has to perform exceptional to recover the investments in its final run. Akhil’s performance received decent response from the audience but the second half of the film is a let down. BVSN Prasad bankrolled Mr Majnu and here are the three days collections of the film:
