Popular producer Dil Raju scored a series of blockbusters last year and the top filmmaker has similar plans this year too. Known for locking interesting combinations, Dil Rajuannounced films with Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Sharwanand, Ram, Nithiin, Raj Tarun and others. Most of the project which have been planned to roll early this year have been delayed. This is all due to the lead actors occupied with their current commitments and some of their projects getting delayed. Raj Tarun’s next in the direction of Anish Krishna is currently under shoot.
Satish Vegesna who scored a blockbuster with Shatamanam Bhavathi is waiting for Nithiin to start Srinivasa Kalyanam. The film will start rolling from February. Harish Shankar is eagerly waiting for Sharwanand and Nithiin to join the multi-starrer and this film may not roll soon as both the lead actors are lined up with back to back films. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next film in the direction of Vamshi Paidipally is expected to start in March in USA and Dil Raju along with Ashwini Dutt will produce this big budget film which has been aimed for Sankranthi release.
Ram signed a film for Trinadha Rao Nakkina and the film’s shoot has been delayed due to the delay in the pre-production work. This untitled project will start rolling in March. Talented young director Anil Ravipudi locked Venkatesh and Varuntej for his next titled F2. The project will roll once Venky gets relieved from Teja’s film. F2 is expected to start rolling from the last week of May and the makers are targeting a Sankranthi release. On the whole, Dil Raju has a bunch of films and he is left in waiting mode after the lead actors turned busy with other commitments.
