Rathna Kumar directed the film and the entire shoot of the film got wrapped up recently. Aadai is produced by V Studios and Amala Paul pinned several hopes on the film. Amala Paul plays a drunk girl in the film and the entire film happens in a high-rise building. There are talks that Aadai is based on some real-life incidents.
