People today don’t have patience for lengthy dramas unless the movie has out-of-the-box storyline. If the movie has regular family drama theme or commercial mass masala story, it ought to have short runtime to click at the box-office.

Mahesh Babu has understand this formulae and he reportedly asked his director Srikanth Addala to cut out all unnecessary scenes and keep the movie’s length at 2.20 hours. “Brahmotsavam” has short runtime despite the movie is being a family entertainer with huge cast members.

Buzz is that director Srikanth Addala didn’t agree initially below 2.30 hours of runtime but it was Mahesh Babu who made Addala to agree to his argument.

Addala also cut out some comedy scenes at the time of “Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” on the insistence of Mahesh Babu and the movie went on to become a blockbuster.

The makers of “Brahmotsavam” have planned everything with utmost care from runtime to premiere shows to extra benefit shows in Telangana on the opening day.

“Brahmotsavam”, directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by PVP Cinema, is set to enthrall the audiences on 20th May worldwide with premiere shows on 19th May in USA. The film is expected to take extraordinary openings.
