Superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent film Maharshi is raking massive revenues across the globe. As the actor predicted, the film crossed the life time numbers of all his super hit films in just a week. The makers and the buyers are expected to end up in profits in the final run. But things are completely different in USA. The overseas theatrical rights are valued at 2.3 million USD. The film slowed down completely and will end up collecting 1.8 million USD in its final run.
Mahesh who has huge fan base across overseas is disappointed with the film’s performance in USA. With bad music and low levels of entertainment, Maharshi did not appeal to the overseas audience big time. The buyers will be losing close to Rs 4 crores in the final run.
