Legendary actress Savitri made a massive impact with her performance in Indian cinema. Now remembering her, a film on her life story is under shoot and it has been titled Mahanati. Nag Ashwin is directing this biopic which is made on a massive budget. Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Devarakonda have been playing other crucial roles in the film which is in final stages of shoot. Though the movie has been planned to be wrapped up by the end of this month, the shoot has been delayed and will be wrapped up by the end of February.
Mahanati also has enough scope for VFX work which is expected to be the film’s major highlight. The delay in the shoot kept huge delay in the VFX work too. Mahanati has been announced for March 29th release and now the makers are keen on releasing the film during May because of the delay in the shoot.
