King Nagarjuna has been in talks for the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana from some time. Kalyan Krishna has been in talks to direct Bangarraju and the regular shoot was planned to commence in July. With Nag occupied with the shoot of Bigg Boss 3 and Naga Chaitanya busy with Venky Mama and Sekhar Kammula’s film, the shoot of the film has been put on hold.
Keerthy Suresh has been roped in as one of the leading ladies in this romantic drama. With the shoot of Bangarraju delayed, Keerthy Suresh had to walk out of the project to avoid clash with the dates of her next film. The shoot of Bangarraju is expected to start from September and the film releases during summer next year. Annapurna Studios are the producers.
