Tollywood director Harish Shankar, who delivered hit films like “Mirapakayi” and “Gabbar Singh”, would be reportedly producing and also directing an untitled Telugu remake. This will be the remake of Hindi blockbuster “Special 26”.
There are reports that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja might be seen in the remake of this film which marked a good success for the saucy seductress Kajal Aggarwal in Bollywood.
It was inspired by the 1987 Opera House heist where few fake Income Tax officers raided the famous jeweller. Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Jimmy Shergill played main roles.
