Coronavirus challenges for pan Indian projects

With the expansion of Telugu market, several filmmakers and actors are keen to have a pan Indian release for their upcoming movies. RRR, Prabhas20, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Vijay Devarakonda’s Fighter, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2, Manchu Manoj’s Aham Brahmasmi are some of the projects which are planned for a pan Indian release. To get the right appeal and wide reach, several directors approached actors from neighboring languages for the films.

After the coronavirus outbreak, all these actors would have to complete several projects and it would be tough to adjust their dates. The biggest challenge happens to be the combinations. For example, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will be playing crucial roles in RRR. The duo should allocate their dates to wrap up the combination episodes which is a tough task. Most of the top actors are not ready to shoot in these current situations. Hence, the shootings of all the pan Indian films will not start soon.

Pan Indian projects also have to be shot on a lavish scale in the needed locales which is a tough task now. Sukumar who finalized Bangkok and Kerala for Pushpa will now have to shoot the film across Telugu states due to coronavirus. The filmmakers are now facing several other challenges. Some of them are in plans to replace the actors while some of them are planning the schedules in Telugu states. There would be massive changes for pan Indian films after the coronavirus season comes to an end.
