Actor Vijay has been knocked by IT officials several times in the recent months after he emerged as one of the highest-paid actors of South Indian cinema. His recent movies ended up as massive hits and Vijay too enjoyed the profits from the films because of which the Income Tax officials paid frequent visits. Vijay is left surprised after a batch of IT officials visited his residence in Panaiyur this morning. Along with Vijay’s house, the residence of Lalith Kumar (co-producer of Master) too was searched.
Tight security was imposed after fans gathered in huge numbers after coming to know about the news. There are talks that the raids are conducted after Vijay’s next film Master did a terrific pre-release business of Rs 220 crores. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj will release in April. Earlier before this, Vijay’s properties were raided after his last film Bigil ended up as a huge hit. Vijay raced to the top in Tamil and he even established a decent market in Telugu.
