Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Devarakonda are working for an action thriller that is tentatively titled Fighter. With the arrival of Karan Johar, the film turned into a pan Indian project. Special sets are erected in Mumbai for the shoot and the makers planned to complete the entire shoot in Mumbai. Puri worked on the script and changed the backdrop to Mumbai. With the arrival of coronavirus, things changed completely. Mumbai is badly shattered with coronavirus pandemic.
Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar and Vijay Devarakonda spoke over the call and decided to shift the shoot to Hyderabad. A massive set will be erected in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad for the shoot of Fighter. Ananya Pandey is the leading lady and several top Hindi actors have been assigned crucial roles. Fighter is the working title and the makers will announce the title soon. The film produced by Puri Jagannadh and Karan Johar will release next year.
