Megastar Chiranjeevi was awestruck with the narration of Koratala Siva. The film titled Acharya is a social drama and is currently in shooting mode. Ram Charan has been roped in to play a crucial role which comes during the flashback episodes of the film. With Ram Charan occupied with RRR, there are speculations that Mahesh Babu will essay the role.
But the latest news is that Ram Charan is back to track and he will play his role. Ram Charan is said to be taking Rs 15 crores as remuneration for the film for his 30 days shoot. Though he is the co-producer of the film, Charan will be taking his paycheque home for the film. He will be joining the sets of Acharya in May. Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments are the producers.
