Samantha Akkineni is a star actress and she turned quite selective after marriage. The actress rejected a bunch of Telugu films and she even clarified that she is not in a mood to do regular commercial flicks. Several Tollywood filmmakers are left disappointed as Samantha is keen on content-driven films rather than commercial films. The actress is said to have signed a couple of Tamil films recently and she is yet to join the sets.
Samantha will take her time and complete the films this year. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are expecting their first child maybe next year and Samantha is keen to take a break for this. She will not do any Telugu films in the coming future and Tollywood audience can expect a straight Telugu film from Samantha only after her comeback. Samantha recently completed her first web series ‘The Family Man: Season 2’.
