There are speculations that legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam is in talks with the leading digital platform Amazon Prime. Mani Ratnam neither confirmed nor denied the news. As per the latest update, we have some more information about the project. Mani Ratnam is all set to produce an anthology for Amazon Prime. The anthology has nine episodes and is based on ‘Navarasa’ which are about the nine emotions of human beings.

Mani Ratnam will direct one of the episodes and he is said to have finalized some talented directors to helm the other episodes. Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthick Naren, Bejoy Nambiar, Arvind Swamy are already finalized to direct one episode each for the anthology. The script work of the project is currently on and the other directors along with the lead actors will be finalized very soon. Amazon Prime will make an official announcement about the anthology.
