Superstar Rajinikanth is sure a happy man as Kaala has been preponed after 2.0 release has been pushed. The actor revealed that Kaala would occupy the summer slot and will release on April 27th across the globe during summer. PA Ranjith is the director of the film and Rajinikanth plays a gangster in this action drama set in the backdrop of Mumbai. With the ongoing strike in Tamil Nadu, the release dates of several films have been pushed.
There have been wide speculations that Kaala release too has been pushed ahead. Lyca Productions clarified the rumors saying that they have not issued any statement on the same. “@LycaProductions has not conveyed anything to anyone regarding #Kaala release date. We are not responsible for any statements arising on release date speculations” posted Lyca Productions on their official twitter handle. Wunderbar Films produced the movie while Lyca Productions are distributing Kaala all over.
