Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are teaming up for the first time and the film is currently shooting in Hyderabad. Acharya is the title considered for the film and Ram Charan was finalized to play a crucial role in the film. With RRR release pushed, Ram Charan had to walk out of the project. Superstar Mahesh Babu will replace Charan in the role and he will start shooting for his part from April.
Mahesh will be working for 30 days for the film and he would be charging Rs 1 crore per day. Mahesh will take Rs 30 crores home for the film as per the update. Trisha is the heroine. The shoot of Acharya is taking place in Kokapet and some crucial episodes on Chiranjeevi are canned. Manisharma is composing the music and Konidela Production Company, Matinee Entertainments are the producers.
