The life story of legendary actress Savitri has been under shoot after two years of pre-production work. Young and talented Nag Ashwin is directing this prestigious film which has been titled Mahanati. Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to reprise the role of the legendary actress on screen and Samantha, Prakash Raj, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in other interesting roles. The shoot of the film is nearing completion and Mahanati has a huge dose of VFX work.
The makers on the eve of Ugadi announced that Mahanati will hit the screens on May 9th across the globe. Mickey J Mayor is composing the music and C Aswini Dutt is producing Mahanati on Vyjayanthi Movies banner. The movie has been made on a massive budget and it has been carrying huge expectations.
