Young actor Dhanush has been occupied with back to back films and he has been directing movies along with bankrolling interesting films. The actor wrapped up the shoot of VIP 2 which is the sequel for his super hit movie VIP. Dhanush himself penned the film’s script and Soundarya Rajinikanth directed the movie. Amala Paul played the heroine and Kajol played the negative lead in VIP 2. The movie has been aimed for July 28th release initially but it has been pushed.
Dhanush himself revealed that the movie will hit the screens on August 11th however an update is expected on the Telugu version. The Tamil version will release on August 11th however with number of films lined up for release during the Independence day weekend in Telugu, the movie will release later in Telugu and Hindi. V Creations and Wunderbar Films bankrolled the movie.
