After more than two years, Anushka is returning back to mainstream cinema with Nishabdham. The film is made on a huge budget and is aimed for release in multiple languages. Though the makers haven’t made any official statement, there are speculations that Nishabdham is inspired by Hollywood flick Hush. It is also unclear if the film is a freemake or if the makers purchased the remake rights of Hush.
Nishabdham is directed by Hemanth Madhukar and is extensively shot in USA. Anushka, R Madhavan, Srinivas Avasarala, Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Micheal Madsen played the lead roles in this action thriller. Anushka plays a mute artist in Nishabdham which is produced by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation jointly.
