It’s raining biopics time in Telugu cinema and after Mahanati, the biopic of legendary politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy has been in progress. Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is the lead actor and is reprising YSR on screen. Mahi V Raghav is the director of this prestigious film which has been titled Yatra. The regular shoot of Yatra started on April 9th and the shoot will take place without any breaks.
There have been talks that Nayanthara is the female lead but the makers denied the news. The latest update says that Ramya Krishna is in talks to play YS Vijayamma in the movie and the makers feel that she can do complete justice for the film. The other lead roles are being finalized and 70mm Entertainments are producing Yatra which will release in all the South Indian languages.
