Superstar Rajinikanth pinned many hopes on his next film Kaala which has been slated for April 27th release. Directed by PA Ranjith, the movie is said to be a stylish action thriller and has been wrapped up long ago. With the delay in 2.0, the release of Kaala has been advanced. But things turned out completely different with the ongoing strike in Tamil Nadu from over a month and half.
With the issues left unsorted, Kaala will not hit the screens as scheduled on April 27th. With several small and big budget films announced in March in waiting mode, Rajinikanth and his team decided to give way for those films first. The latest update from a source says that Kaala will now hit the screens during June and Rajinikanth asked his team to give ways for the March releases first. Wunderbar Films produced Kaala and Lyca Productions is releasing the movie.
