Maverick director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati completed shoot and it has been initially planned for December 1st release. The film has been struck with a series of controversies which delayed the film’s release. Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh played the lead roles in this periodic drama `which has been made on a massive budget. The film completed the censor scrutiny recently and the film has been passed with U/A certificate with possible cuts.
The film’s title has been asked to be changed to Padmaavat and the makers agreed for the suggested changes. The film is now gearing up for a record release on January 25th across the globe. Padmaavat will also release in Telugu and Tamil languages all over informed the makers. Padmaavat will release in 3D, IMAX in selected theatres across the country. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films jointly bankrolled this prestigious project.
