Legendary actress Savitri’s lifestory has been titled Mahanati and the entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up recently. Nag Ashwin is the director of the film and Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri on screen. Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda and Dulquer Salman will be seen essaying other crucial roles in this prestigious project. The movie has been slated for release during summer.
Veteran actor Mohan Babu has been asked to essay the role of veteran actor SV Ranga Rao in the movie. A source from the movie unit revealed that Mohan Babu charged Rs 75 lakhs for his short role and the actor managed to complete his part in just three weeks. Vyjayanthi Movies produced Mahanati which has been announced for May 9th release.
