Arjun Reddy is a cult classic in the history of Telugu cinema. Vijay Devarakonda emerged as a superstar with the film and Sandeep Vanga made his directorial debut with this romantic entertainer. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 4 crores and it raked over Rs 30 crores in its final run. Arjun Reddy turned out to be a topic across all the industries and is being made in all the Indian languages.
Sandeep Vanga has been approached to direct the Hindi version of the movie and Shahid Kapoor will play the lead role in the remake. The Hindi theatrical rights of Arjun Reddy have been sold for a record price of Rs 7 crores which is huge. The female lead is yet to be finalized and Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde will produce the film jointly. The regular shoot of this untitled movie will start from July and Sandeep Vanga is busy scripting the Hindi version currently.
