After NTR – Kathanayakudu ended up as a dud, NTR – Mahanayakudu carried zero expectations. As predicted, the film opened on a low note after it released in limited number of screens last Friday. Directed by Krish, NTR – Mahanayakudu focused on the political life of NTR and how he brought TDP to power and took charge as Chief Minister. NTR – Mahanayakudu registered poor numbers on Friday and it remained low during the weekend all over.

NTR – Mahanayakudu collected a theatrical share of Rs 3.41 crores in three days of its box-office run across the globe. This is quite low for a top actor’s film. Balakrishna and Krish are left in deep shock with the collections and lost hopes on the film. NTR – Mahanayakudu will end up as one of the biggest disasters of Telugu cinema.
