Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role of his father NTR in his biopic. Krish is the director of this prestigious project and the shoot of the film will be completed by the end of this week. The trailer created tremors all over and is a massive hit. The film will release in two installments as NTR – Kathanayakudu and NTR – Mahanayakudu. There are several speculations about who is essaying the role of Balakrishna in the film.

Though it was said that Mokshagna will reprise his father, a close source from the movie unit clarified that he did not play the role. To keep his role under wraps, a junior artist played Balakrishna in the film. This may be surprising but the makers wanted to keep the focus completely on NTR and hence they did not rope in any actor for the role. NTR – Kathanayakudu is hitting the screens across the globe on January 9th 2019.
