Talented director Krish has been asked to direct Manikarnika, a war drama that narrates the life story of warrior queen Jhansi Laxmibhai. Krish walked out of the project due to undisclosed reasons when the shoot of the film neared completion. The trailer released recently received exceptional response from the audience. Kangana made some controversial comments on Krish during the event.

She said that Krish walked out of the film in middle and she took up direction and completed the project on time. Krish preferred not to respond on the controversies and is staying calm. He is working round the clock for NTR and decided not to involve in unwanted spat. The shoot of NTR is in final stages and will release early next year. It is still unclear if Krish promotes Manikarnika before its release or not.
