Savyasachi Movie Review

Youngster Naga Chaitanya who tasted a disaster with Shailaja Reddy Alludu is all set to test his luck with an action thriller Savyasachi. The film deals with vanishing twin syndrome and is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Nidhhi Agerwal is the female lead and R Madhavan, Bhumika Chawla will be seen in other interesting roles. MM Keeravani is the music director and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. Here is the complete review of Savyasachi:

Story:

Savyasachi is all about Vikram Aditya (Naga Chaitanya) who suffers with twin vanishing syndrome. He stays with his sister (Bhumika Chawla) and works as an ad filmmaker. He falls in love with Chitra (Nidhhi Agerwal) who is a college girl. He receives a shock after his niece gets kidnapped. The rest of Savyasachi is all about the evil (R Madhavan) and Vikram’s relation with him. Watch Savyasachi to know how Vikram Aditya saves his niece and gets a happy ending.

Positives:

Naga Chaitanya
R Madhavan
Interesting premises
Decent first half
Music and Cinematography

Negatives:

Plot deviated
Boring second half
Poor and predictable narration
Outdated entertainment

Performances:

Young actor Naga Chaitanya steps out with one more impressive performance and he improved a lot. He has been outstanding in the action episodes and he carried the entire film on his shoulders. Nidhhi Agerwal is a huge surprise and she delivered out her best for the film. R Madhavan makes a stunning watch and he is a perfect fit for the role of the lead antagonist. Bhumika, Vennela Kishore and Rao Ramesh have been decent in their roles.

Savyasachi has an interesting plot but it has not been handled well enough. The screenplay should have been better and the dialogues have been decent. Keeravani’s music is an asset and couple of songs have been well shot on screen. The cinematography work is an asset for Savyasachi and the production values of the film have been grand enough. Chandoo Mondeti falls short of expectations because of the bland second half.

Verdict:

Naga Chaitanya falls short of expectations once again with Savyasachi which falls flat because of the poor and boring second half.
