Yatra is the biopic of legendary politician and mass leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The movie showcases the crucial padayatra of YSR which brought him back to power. Malayalam top actor Mammootty has been asked to play the lead role as YSR in Yatra which started rolling last month. Yatra is being made on a massive budget and is directed by Mahi V Raghav. Ashrita Vemugunta has been roped in play YS Vijayamma in the movie.
The latest update is that Bhoomika has been roped in to play a crucial role as YS Sharmila in the film. The actress when approached loved the role and signed the film. Bhoomika will join the sets next month. 70mm Entertainments are producing Yatra which will release during the last quarter of this year. Bhoomika recently wrapped up the shoot of Naga Chaitanya’s next film Savyasachi which is an action thriller and will release during July.
