Superstar Rajinikanth is all set with his first release this year with Kaala and the film’s release has been advanced after 2.0 has been delayed and pushed further. PA Ranjith is the director of the film and Eshwari Rao, Huma Qureshi played the female leads. Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani played other pivotal roles in this gangster drama which is in final stages of post-production. The makers are quite happy with the buzz the film has been carrying and the film has been sold out all over.
Now the makers sold the satellite rights of Kaala for Star TV. The leading group acquired the rights for the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions for a record price of Rs 75 crores. This is huge and the makers are extremely delighted and closed the deal on spot. The pre-release business of Kaala in all the languages is expected to cross Rs 150 crores and is produced by Wunderbar Films. Lyca Productions is releasing Kaala on April 27th across the globe. Rajinikanth plays a gangster in this action drama.
