Talented actress Anushka Shetty has been idle after the release of Bhagamathiee that took place early in 2018. It took a year for Anushka to cut down her weight and turn fit. Anushka soon started signing films and she recently completed shooting for Syeraa in which she narrates the entire life story of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. Anushka was extremely impressed with the content of an interesting film titled Silence and asked the makers to go ahead.

The regular shoot was planned from February but was put on hold as the movie unit faced Visa issues. Now the makers were granted all the visas and the regular shoot will start from May 24th in USA and will continue without breaks. Anushka was granted O1 Visa and she would fly to USA this week. R Madhavan is the other lead actor in Silence and the film will be directed by Hemanth Madhukar. Kona Venkat and People Media Factory are the producers.
